HandMade In Japan Fes 2017

On the 22nd and 23rd of July (Saturday and Sunday), Tokyo Big Sight will play host to “HandMade In Japan Fes 2017,” the nation’s largest event for creators. Celebrating its fifth anniversary, the theme for this year’s “HandMade In Japan Fes” is “Crazy for Creation – Immersing Yourself,” and active creators throughout the country will gather in Tokyo, where they will showcase their enthusiasm by both displaying and selling their unique handmade creations.

The “HandMade In Japan Fes 2017” venue will be divided into three areas. Firstly, in the “Creators’ Area,” for categories such as fashion, interior, arts and crafts, there will be a market where some 5,500 individual participants will put on show their original handmade goods. In the same area, there will also be a gathering of workshops where visitors can try their hand at making things for themselves. In the “Music and Play Area,” in addition to being able to enjoy the live stage performances of popular artists, there will be a farmer’s market where visitors can purchase fresh fruit and vegetables. Finally, after fully enjoying the products and performances of the creators in attendance, make sure to visit the “Food and Café Area.” While enjoying food and beverages such as confectionaries, bread, teas and coffees, all produced using the best ingredients, make sure to fully experience the wide range of Japanese creations whose attractions are sweeping the world!
