Have you heard of the “World Gourmet and Drink Festival 2015”, where in one location visitors can enjoy a variety of cuisine and refreshments from around the world? Put on by the International Food Culture Exchange Association, this gourmet event is a festival that aims to promote “international exchange through culinary culture”, it also enjoying the support of numerous foreign embassies and tourism organizations.

In following on from last year’s great success, this is the second year in which the expo will be held. It will run over a 10-day period from April 10th to 19th at Komazawa Olympic Park, before moving to Tokyo SKYTREE TOWN® for 17 days from April 24 to May 10. While circulating around the different food and refreshment booths lined up at both venues, through the enjoyment of excellent beers, wines and cuisine from around the world, visitors can experience what it is like to travel the globe! There will also be a great variety of food on hand representing the culinary cultures of different countries; from German pretzels to Belgian waffles, through to English fish and chips, etc.

Additionally, to enliven things further, a wide variety of on-stage performances featuring music and dancing, etc., are planned. If you are somebody who loves good food, or somebody who loves a festive atmosphere, please come along and check out the scene. This is a really great event where visitors can connect with the wider world through culinary culture!
