The rainy season is upon us again this year. With innumerable days of humidity and dampness, many people begin to feel somewhat down in the dumps, finding it difficult to be enthusiastic about food. As something that hits the spot in throwing off such feelings and also encouraging appetite, there is nothing like the healthy sweat induced by eating spicy ethnic cuisine. In this month's One Point, we introduce a range of original curry spices sold by Education Sponsorship in Asia (ESA), an authorized Non-Profit Organization (NPO).

ESA is a NPO supporting education activities in India and Bangladesh. So that as many children as possible can receive a basic education equating to that of Japanese elementary school, junior high school, and high school; ESA sponsors a wide range of activities. Furthermore, so that as many people as possible can support ESA activities, the organization sells a range of original spice mixes. ESA has prepared a great variety of products including a chicken curry mix, a seafood curry mix, a tandoori chicken mix, and a chai tea mix, etc., with prices ranging from \200 to \400 per packet. If just two packets of these products are purchased, a Bangladeshi or Indian child can attend school for a month.

The spice mixes come with recipes that can be easily understood even by novice users. If ingredients such as meat and vegetables are prepared, then easily-cooked, genuine Indian cuisine can be enjoyed. There are also beautifully-wrapped spice and tea products, which are ideal gift suggestions. While playing a valuable role in supporting the children of Asia, wouldn't you also like to try these delicious and invigorating ESA spice mixes?
